Losing your beloved spouse is indeed a difficult and depressing time but life must go on. However, it is very difficult to "let go" as we are only humans with feelings and emotions. Hopefully with this blog I can dedicate this to my dear wife of 34 years to ease the pain.

The 100 Days' Ceremony on Tuesday 22.2.2011
"Time flies" and yes indeed it does, as it is indeed 100 Days after the passing away of my beloved spouse. A simple Buddhist Ceremony of prayers was held at the Wat Chaiya Mangalaram or the Sleeping Buddha Temple followed by a Dana or Alms Giving Ceremony at the Burmese Buddhist Temple opposite the road attended by our friends. Thank for your assistance and support.

Chinese New Year Eve for the Year of the Rabbit 2011
Chinese New Year falls tomorrow ie Thursday, 3 February, 2011 and tonight is the reunion dinner for family as tradition calls for it. However, as my spouse had just passed on, my sons and I shall be not celebrating the re-union dinner and CNY Celebrations as we are still in the state of mourning. Yes, this is the very first year I shall be observing the CNY Eve without my beloved wife. At this time for past 30 years, she should be packing ang pows or red packets by stuffing in ringgit notes for our family members and friends. She would systemically arrange her ang pows in bundles to be allocated to who shall receive what value of the ang pows. She had always pack these ang pows diligently and it was a delight to watch her doing this annual chore. Alas, this is gone but remained as my loving memories of her.
